Ayinde brought a tight, dynamic show to Tampa and rocked the house three nights in a row to fully appreciative audiences. I spoke to co-workers, colleagues, laymen and strangers and didn’t hear a back word spoken. I personally laughed to the point of tears and I see a lot of shows being in the position that I am. 

I truly enjoyed Nappy Journeys and watching you go from something similar to stand up, to the performer!!!!  It was truly LIVE theatre in every sense of the word. I learned what you meant by moving around and you showed me what interactive really means.  As for you as a person....I was moved by your humble nature. You are so down to Earth and I really enjoyed your master class. Thanks for opening the door to new growth and giving me an opportunity to speak from my heart.  

One of my students went to see your show three times!  She raved about the energy and intelligence of Hurrey-UP’s show…she said that the show caused conversations to take place on campus about racial issues that were exciting to her.  As she put it, “Because of those conversations, I feel that I really am in college.  I have seen the show twice (Othello) and have enjoyed it very much, both times.”
